B. 3. What does the timing of Jesus’ birth say about God’s
sovereignty over time and human history?
C. 4. Jesus’ pledge as He left our world after the resurrection
was that He would be with us always. Considering how He
made His entrance the first time, how do you think you
might recognize His presence today?
D. 1. Pick a small number of verses from one of the birth
narratives and write them in your journal. Use your time
today to read aloud the verses you have chosen. Then sit
for a few minutes in silence. Prayerfully listen for what God
may be saying to you.
